Oro di Milas is made by Eminems Olive Oil in Milas, Muğla, from 100% Memecik olives grown in four groves in Milas.
Picked by hand, once a year
From mid-October to mid-November.
Cold-extracted within eight hours
From the tree to extraction in under eight hours, on a Mori-Tem system; then filtered.
Each harvest kept separate
One variety, one season at a time.
In 2020 the European Union registered Milas olive oil — Milas Zeytinyağı — as a Protected Designation of Origin. The groves that produce Oro di Milas lie within that region.
